Hello there,
Planning for the Plot Twist (So We Can Get Back to the Story)
Have you ever looked at a mountain of laundry or a cluttered calendar and thought, “This is taking away from my reading time”?
I’ve been there. In fact, I live there.
Fable & Folio was built on a simple, slightly rebellious premise: I don't plan just to be "productive." I plan to reclaim our time. I organize the logistics of my life—the budgets, the schedules, and the spreadsheets—specifically so I can close our laptops, light a candle, and disappear into a high-stakes fantasy world without a shred of guilt.
The Curator of the Sanctuary
I’m a woman over 40 navigating the beautiful, busy "middle chapters" of life. As an accounting professional, a student, a wife, and a mother, my "Folio" is often full. But my heart is always in the "Fable."
I spent years in the fast-paced trucking and healthcare industries, and if those sectors taught me anything, it’s that life is full of unexpected plot twists. Now, I use my Hobonichi and bullet journals to create a "Paper Sanctuary"—a place where the chaos of the day is managed with cottagecore charm and intentionality, clearing the path for my true passion: reading.
What We Do Here
This isn't just about checkboxes; it’s about creating the margin to live a well-read life. At Fable & Folio, you’ll find:
Productivity for Bibliophiles: How to streamline your professional and home life to maximize your "minutes per chapter."
The Reading Journal: Detailed setups for tracking the realms we visit, from the dark magic of Kingdom of the Wicked to the epic world of Vikings and old gods in The Shadows of the Gods.
Aesthetic Organization: Merging the functional world of accounting-level precision with the organic, mushroom-and-moss vibe of a cozy library.
Intentional Escapism: Tools and layouts designed to help you manage your reality so you can better enjoy your fantasy.
The Philosophy
Life is an epic saga, and every protagonist needs a well-organized satchel. I believe that by being intentional with our time, we aren't just "getting things done"—we are protecting our right to wonder, to wander, and to read just one more chapter.
My mission is to share and inspire how Iplan for the plot twists of real life, so I’m always ready to dive back into the story.
Let’s clear the schedule and find the magic.
